AdventHealth Hendersonville Presents 2024 Nurses Week Awards
AdventHealth Hendersonville is keeping the celebration of Nurses Week going strong with the announcement of the winners of the 2024 Nurses Week Awards. These awards recognize the hard work and commitment to excellence that these team members demonstrate on a daily basis. The award winners continually live out AdventHealth’s Service Standards – Keep Me Safe, Love Me, Make it Easy and Own it. Each one exemplifies the human spirit at its best.
“We are so excited to recognize these nurses and support team members for their exceptional commitment to caring for our patients and each other,” explains Maureen Dzialo, MS, RN, Chief Nursing Officer for AdventHealth Hendersonville. “Our nursing leaders helped us create the Nurses Week Awards.”
The Nurses Week Awards include several categories, such as the Nursing Leadership Award, the New Licensed Nurse of the Year Award, the Nursing Service Excellence Award, the Friend of Nursing Award, the Nursing Assistant of the Year Award, the Mentoring Excellence Award, the Improvement in Quality Outcomes, the Relationship Based Care Award, and the Team Award. Each of these awards recognizes different qualities and contributions of the team members, such as leadership, exceptional patient care, teamwork, professionalism, mentoring, improvement of quality and safety outcomes, and the delivery of quality care with deep respect for the dignity of each person.

Dzialo and her nursing leaders surprise the winners during Nurses Week. She adds, “Seeing the look of pride and honor on their faces is one of the best parts of being on this incredible nursing team.”
Thank you to the 2024 Nurses Week Award winners that go above and beyond to deliver compassionate patient care and continued support to their team members.
