Marcus Engel’s hands are everything. He uses them to navigate around his home, to read braille and to handle his seeing-eye dog.
When Marcus was recently bitten by a snake on the hand, the thought of losing his limb was devastating.
“I knew that the possibility of losing my hand was in there,” said Engel.
