This years awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the KSHPRM Fall Conference at the Mary J. Boone Center, University of Kentucky on 9th November 2017. This is the fourth year in a row that MMH has won big at the KSHPRM Awards.

Organizations are eligible to submit entries in 34 categories ranging from print and television advertising to websites and campaigns. All entries are sent to a sister society in another state for judging.
This year, KSHPRM Thoroughbred Awards received 83 entries, which were judged by the Georgia Society for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing. Out of the 24 Thoroughbred Awards given, MMH bagged 2 of them for the Men's Health Month and Women's Health Month radio campaigns. MMH also received four Certificates of Merit for Lifelines- Legacy issue (internal publication), Gallup and Service Awards (events), the Summer Fitness Program (outdoor/billboard) and the MIPR documents (special purpose publication).
Hurriyat Ghayyur, director of marketing for the hospital was also the Chairperson for the awards event. It was my pleasure and an honor to be asked to serve as the Chairperson for the Thoroughbred Awards this year, said Ghayyur. To be recognized and awarded for your work from amongst some great state-wide campaigns is indeed encouraging and gratifying.
