FLAGLER, LAKE and VOLUSIA COUNTIES, Fla., January 9, 2019 – AdventHealth Medical Group has named Lisa Bemboom as regional business development director.
AdventHealth Medical Group is an employed group of more than 160 primary care doctors and specialists in Lake, Flagler, and Volusia counties.
In her new role, Bemboom will be responsible for business development and provider recruitment strategy, ensuring the analysis and identification of growth opportunities, as well as supporting activities related to sales, marketing, client relations, operations and practice management.
Bemboom brings to this position over 25 years of experience in the health care industry with proven leadership skills and an expertise in operations and business development.
She joins AdventHealth Medical Group from Punta Gorda, Florida, where she previously served as president and CEO of consulting firm Gulf Coast Healthcare Solutions.
Her other previous experience includes serving as chief operating officer and health care consultant at CarePoint Health in Hudson County, New Jersey, where she was responsible for developing and managing a three-hospital physician alignment organization consisting of nearly 500 hospital and practice-based physicians.
In addition, Bemboom also previously served as the clinical director for Boone Hospital/BJC Medical Group in Columbia, Missouri, where she directed all staffing and operational aspects of a hospital owned urgent care and occupational medicine center.
Bemboom has also worked as both a criminal prosecutor for the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida and a prosecutor for the Florida Department of Health.
She earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in political science and international studies from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, and her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee.
