Board-certified podiatrist Dr. Kale Meeks has joined AdventHealth Medical Group and performs procedures at AdventHealth Fish Memorial and AdventHealth DeLand.
As an AdventHealth Medical Group team member, Meeks joins more than 400 health care providers, including 250 primary care physicians and specialists in Flagler, Lake and Volusia counties.
Meeks joins the practice of Dr. Zachary Cavins and will treat a wide array of foot and ankle conditions, sports injuries, and circulation issues, as well as foot and ankle conditions related to diabetes and Parkinson’s disease.
Meeks earned his degree in podiatric medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in California. He went on to complete a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at AdventHealth East Orlando, where he served as chief resident.
“We completed the same residency program at AdventHealth, and I was part of the faculty during his training, which gave me the opportunity to watch Dr. Meeks grow and excel,” Cavins said. “I am extremely excited to have him join our team and help us expand our advanced foot and ankle care to the West Volusia community.”
“During my residency program, I had the opportunity to learn from Dr. Cavins, and the fact that we both completed the same program reflects the importance and power of effective training,” Meeks said. “I’ve personally seen how Dr. Cavins goes above and beyond to ensure quality care to each and every patient, as well as his lasting impact on those around him. I am very honored to uphold that legacy by collaborating with him to further elevate the foot and ankle care available locally.”
Meeks’ has two office locations: inside the Summit Building at AdventHealth Fish Memorial, 1061 Medical Center Drive, Suite 212, Orange City, and inside the medical office building at AdventHealth DeLand, 1070 N Stone Street, Suite C. The office phone number for both locations is
