A History of Service That Extends Beyond Our Walls
Our hospital was built on a foundation of service to the community. Through the combined commitment and effort of our administrators, board members, physicians, associates, volunteers, government officials, consultants, architects and community members, we anticipate and respond to the needs of our neighbors with community outreach and education programs. Now, as part of the AdventHealth family, AdventHealth Ocala is well prepared continue our focus on whole-person care for future generations.
Serving. Teaching. Healing. Community Outreach and Education Efforts
Extending the healing ministry of Christ means reaching out to offer help and support to all the residents of our community. We do it through programs such as Healthy Home and Mom 365. For our youngest community members, we offer Pediatric Orientation to all first grade classes in Marion County. This partnership with teachers educates children about medical care, stranger danger, bike safety and using 911. We also have strong partnerships with other health care providers, as well as volunteer opportunities across the community.
