Our elderly and underprivileged neighbors in the Gordon County area can access our popular free community health-education classes, special clinical and non-clinical programs, and spiritual resources along with financial assistance for medical expenses.
All of our neighbors are invited to join our free or low-cost health education classes and support groups, where they can learn healthier habits, discover ways to move through a new life transition, or simply spend time with others who have similar life experiences. It all works toward creating healthier and happier communities and is all part of AdventHealth's mission to provide whole-person care for every one of our neighbors.

The Joint Program
The Joint Program includes education about total knee arthroplasty, total hip arthroplasty and total hip arthroplasty using the anterior approach. Living Well Classes with Julia Danforth, MD
Taught by board-certified Lifestyle Medicine and Family Medicine physician Julia Danforth, MD, this workshop series demonstrates why and how a whole-food plant-based diet is great for your health, energy and treating chronic diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol and more. Beautiful You Program
A program dedicated to supporting women as they go through cancer treatment by nurturing body, mind and spirit, Beautiful You provides patients with wigs, turbans and makeovers free of charge to help patients feel more like themselves. To register, call Call706-879-5850.
