Biography

Dr. Romano has been an Orthopaedic Surgeon for more than 25 years. His experience shows when performing Total Joint Replacements, as well as Knee and Shoulder Arthroscopies. Specializing in Sports Medicine, Dr. Romano has cared for athletes of all ages. His innovative approach brings a unique method for identifying the source of the pain which may be different than the presenting symptoms. Treating the source will insure a rapid and full recovery. More on this can be found in his book “Finding the Source.” He brings a specialty in sports and reconstructive procedures including: Arthroscopic Surgery, ACL Reconstruction, Anterior Total Joint Replacement, Minimally Invasive & Computer Navigated Total Knee Replacement, Trauma & Fracture Care, and Bone Health. Dr. Romano is dedicated to taking care of the whole patient and making them well, not just fixing a specific problem. He believes that everything is related and does not want to treat just a shoulder or knee. He is also interested in more natural modalities such as physical therapy, sleep and nutrition for lasting health.
