Stephen Bales, RN, NP, is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an adult nurse practitioner and as a surgical assistant by the American Board of Surgical Assistants. He specializes in da Vinci robotic surgical assisting, androgen deprivation therapy, and general urology. He has experience serving as an assistant in a variety of surgical procedures including minimally invasive cancer surgery using hand assisted laparoscopic and robotic techniques.
Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin before completing a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He is a current member of the Society of Urological Nurses & Associates and the American College of Nurse Practitioners.
