Dr. Richardson was raised in Monroe, Louisiana. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University with a major in Molecular and Cell Biology. Dr. Richardson obtained his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his Residency in Family Medicine and Fellowship in Maternal Child Health at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.

He and his family enjoy living in the San Marcos community. Dr. Richardson is passionate about medical mission work and has traveled abroad to help people in places like Africa, China and Central America. He is also very civic-minded and been recognized for his community service.
