Biography

Soma Sinha Roy, MD is board certified in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, and she is fellowship-trained in both diagnostic neuroradiology and endovascular surgical neuroradiology. She is fluent in English, Bengali and Hindi and sees patients 18 years and older.

Over the course of her studies, Dr. Sinha Roy received numerous awards for academic excellence, she is a member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, the American Society of Neuroradiology, and the American Society Interventional & Therapeutic Neuroradiology. She has contributed numerous articles to peer-reviewed publications such as the Journal of Neurosurgery and the Journal of Clinical Neuro surgery.

Dr. Sinha Roy has performed over 5,000 neurodiagnostic and neurointerventional procedures. Her focus is on providing the very best in clinical care for her patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, head and neck aneurysms and other vascular malformations of the brain and spine. She believes in spending time with patients and their families, carefully explaining the risks and benefits of different medical options, and in treating her patients with compassion whole person care.
