Sherif Ragab, MD

Sherif Ragab, MD, is a Board-certified psychiatrist with AdventHealth Medical Group Psychiatry at Shawnee Mission. He provides care for patients in our inpatient program as well as in our outpatient clinic, established in 2022.

Prior to joining AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in 2017, Dr. Ragab was in Texas where he worked as a psychiatrist in both hospital and psychiatric center settings. Prior to that, he was an attending psychiatrist for both inpatient and outpatient clinics in Brooklyn, New York, where he also was an assistant professor of psychiatry at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

Dr. Ragab is a graduate of Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He completed his residency, including service as chief resident, at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he earned several honors for exceptional performance. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
