Biography

Richard Klucznik, MD is board certified in Interventional Neuro radiologist with more than 35 years of experience. Skilled in the endovascular treatment of aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, vascular malformations of the brain and spine and strokes. He sees patients 18 years and older.

Dr. Klucznick earned his medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine. He subsequently completed a diagnostic radiology residency from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. After completing a neuroradiology fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center, Dr. Klucznik served as the chief of neuroradiology CT/MRI at the Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center of the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas where he received the Air Force Commendation Medal.

He then completed an interventional neuroradiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and subsequently was appointed Assistant Professor of Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Klucznik joined the staff at The Methodist Hospital that same year as an interventional neuroradiologist and was appointed Director of Interventional Neuroradiology at The Methodist Hospital. Dr. Klucznik has served on numerous committees including the Medical Staff Quality Management Committee, Neurology Care Management Performance Improvement Subcommittee and the Quality Assurance Committee for Endovascular. He is a senior member American Society of Neuroradiology, Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, The Radiological Society of North America, and the American College of Radiology.

His focus is on providing the very best in clinical care while being at the forefront of new technology in his field allows him to provide for his patients the best options while carefully ex plaining the risks and benefits of different medical options, and in treating his patients with compassionate whole person care.
