Richard Heppe, MD

Richard Heppe, MD, is a board-certified urologist driven to help his patients, 18 and older, through difficult times. His priority areas of focus are general urology, stones, men's health, infertility, erectile dysfunction, and Peyronie's disease. Dr. Heppe also performs surgical procedures that include vasectomy reversal, sperm retrieval, and laser vaporization of the prostate. Dr. Heppe trains and educates future physicians in addition to his work with his patients.

Dr. Heppe received his medical doctorate from the Medical College of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia. He then completed an internship in general surgery, along with his residency training in general surgery and urology, at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Heppe is a member of the American Urological Association, Colorado Medical Society, Denver Medical Society, and the Rocky Mountain Urologic Society. Active in the community, Dr. Heppe served as president of the Denver Southeast Rotary Club.

Dr. Heppe enjoys cycling, golf, tennis, and building furniture. He is also involved in his community and has been an active Rotarian for over 30 years.

He believes in a patient-centered approach to care. He takes into account his patient's personal goals for their treatment and emphasizes quality of life.
