Biography: Rebecca Bird, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse who earned a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. Rebecca has been working as a nurse in ICU and charge nurse in ER since 2010, and then in 2016, she transitioned to Hematology and medical oncology as an APRN. A United States Army veteran, Rebecca served as a combat lifesaver in Fort Riley, Kansas, where she was awarded a commendation medal. She is also an experienced public speaker, educating audiences about cancer awareness and health.
