Rachel Shannon, LCSW, CAS, PMH-C, is a licensed clinical social worker providing behavioral health care for patients 12 and up. Rachel comes from a long line of therapists and teachers and was drawn to behavioral health to help people overcome or integrate the obstacles they face in their lives. She finds working collaboratively with a medical team to be rewarding and efficient for her patients.
Rachel received her degree from the University of Denver and spent three years working with patients recovering from substance abuse. She is a highly experienced practitioner, having spent 23 years in health care settings before joining AdventHealth.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys singing. She was the founder of an a cappella group that was active for 25 years. These days, she can be found singing at local karaoke nights. She also enjoys yoga and Pilates.
