Mohamed Ahmed, MD, MS, FACS, is the General Surgery Graduate Medicine Education Program Director at AdventHealth Tampa. Dr. Ahmed is passionate about whole-person care and educating the next generation of medical leaders.
Dr. Ahmed completed his Master of Science degree at the University of Washington School of Public Health before earning his Doctor of Medicine and Surgery degree at Baghdad Medical College in Baghdad, Iraq.
Dr. Ahmed is a widely published surgeon and a member of several organizations, including the Institute for Health Care Improvement, the American College of Surgeons and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
