Mistee Formica, CNM, is a Certified Nurse Midwife with over 17 years of clinical experience. She specializes in the clinical management of low- and high-risk pregnancies, family planning, intrapartum, antepartum and postpartum care. Mistee earned a Doctor of Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina with a Master of Science in Nursing, with a concentration on midwifery. Mistee also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University. Before joining AdventHealth, Mistee was a Certified Nurse Midwife and Supervisor of Maternity Operations at Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services, and offered midwifery services at the OB Hospitalist Group in Gastonia, North Carolina.
