Biography

Laura Ferreira, APRN, is an advanced practice family nurse practitioner. She treats patients of all ages and provides physical examinations, treating chronic and acute illnesses, injuries, and offers assessments and diagnoses.

Laura earned a Master of Nursing in Leadership and Management from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN, and holds a post-master’s certificate in the family nurse practitioner specialty from Herzing University in Kenosha, WA. Her experience spans the primary health center at Walmart in Winter Garden, FL, Bright Care Medical Group in Clermont, FL, and the Centurion Wakulla Correctional Facility at Crawfordwille, FL. Laura has also been an emergency department travel nurse for numerous organizations across Florida and Washington. She has been a nurse since 2007.

Outside her practice, Laura enjoys going to the Disney parks, reading, watching movies and going to the gym.
