Kristin Marrs, LCSW

Kristin Marrs, LCSW, PMH-C, is a licensed clinical social worker serving patients of all ages in the Castle Rock and Castle Pines communities. Kristin treats a variety of mental health conditions and life stressors that affect everyday life, including anxiety and depression, phobias, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and stress related to medical concerns and life changes. She guides her patients through therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and also offers acceptance and commitment therapy and crisis intervention.

Providing integrated mental health support alongside a physician team, Kristin is passionate about helping people navigate difficult periods in their lives. She works to normalize accepting therapeutic help when needed so people can better handle life’s struggles.

Kristin earned her bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and completed a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. She is a licensed clinical social worker in Louisiana and Colorado and is certified in EMDR, perinatal mental health, youth PTSD CBT treatment and applied suicide intervention skills training. She is currently working toward certification in reproductive grief care.

In her free time, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, either by hiking or visiting local parks, zoos and museums. In the evenings, she loves reading a nice book by the fire pit.

With a focus on your whole-person health, Kristin will work together with you to identify mental and emotional stressors that affect your overall health and everyday life. Her goal is to provide a safe space to process life stressors and help you achieve your goals. Working alongside your physician, she will evaluate your mental health condition and guide you through the most appropriate therapy so you can feel whole.
