Krishen Patel, MD

Krishen Patel, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist who obtained his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. He completed an internal medicine residency at the same institution. He was also awarded a gastroenterology fellowship there, which he recently completed.

Dr. Patel is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, oral presentations and manuscripts and was an assistant editor of the book “The Surgery Boards,” published in 2013. He is fluent in English and Gujarati.

In Dr. Patel’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golf, and Formula 1 racing.

Dr. Patel’s care philosophy is to provide high quality and individualized care for each of his patients, starting with a strong physician/patient relationship and understanding that there are many different factors that can play a role when developing a treatment plan.
