Specializing in the treatment of breast, colon and rectal cancer, as well as surgical treatment for thyroid and parathyroid disorders, J. Craig Box, MD, FACS, is the only fellowship-trained cancer surgeon in Northwest Georgia.

He feels honored to support you and your family on your journey to whole health. It's his mission to ensure you get high-quality, compassionate care as well as access to the latest surgical approaches.

Dr. Box graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens and the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, completed an internship and residency at the Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta and a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.

His passions outside the office include fishing, hiking and creating things.
