Eric Marquez-Guerra, MD

Eric Marquez-Guerra, MD, is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He began his medical education at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He later moved to complete his transitional year residency and obstetrics and gynecology residency at Hospital Episcopal San Lucas in Ponce, Puerto Rico where he was awarded the distinction of Administrative Chief Resident.

Prior to joining AdventHealth, Dr. Marquez-Guerra served as the chairman of obstetrics and gynecology/pediatrics at Shands Lake Shore Regional Medical Center in Lake City and acted as the clinical preceptor in obstetrics and gynecology for the University of Florida’s family medicine residency program. He has also served as a University of Florida Health obstetrics and gynecology faculty member from 2020 to 2021.

Fluent in English and Spanish, he focuses on providing compassionate and quality health care to women throughout the stages of their reproductive lives. He is skilled in preventive care, contraception, preconceptual counseling, high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery as well as treating incontinence, infertility, pelvic floor issues, pelvic pain and menopause.
