Dennis Alter, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon. After graduating magna cum laude from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, Dr. Alter received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. He went on to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery at the National Navy Medical Command in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Alter is experienced in the surgical treatment of a wide array of complex orthopedic conditions and injuries and is dedicated to providing whole-person care that heals your body, strengthens your mind and lifts your spirit.
