Curtis Weaver, MD, FACC,is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida and completed his residency and fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta. He has previously served as a cardiology consultant for the Orlando Solar Bears, the Orlando Miracles, the Orlando Magic and the Florida Citrus Sports Association. Dr. Weaver goes out of his way to make a personal connection with his patients, going beyond symptoms and diagnoses to get a better understanding of other factors that could affect each person's treatment plan. He takes the time to explain conditions and treatment options in a manner that patients can understand so that they can actively participate and take more ownership of their care.
