Biography

April Morris, NP, S, followed in the footsteps of her mother and her maternal grandmother, who were both registered nurses.

She's always known she belongs in the medical field, caring for others, as it was always in her genes.

As an advanced practice nurse working in family medicine, she serves patients ages 17 and older in Volusia County where she's been a resident since 1998, when she began working as a community nurse.

Dr. Morris earned her Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner from the University of Florida in Gainesville, completed her Master of Nursing at the University of South Florida in Tampa and is board certified in Family Practice.

Care Philosophy

Dr. Morris has over 20 years in the profession of nursing and knows the importance of healing the whole patient in body, mind and spirit. Treating all aspects of your health, she works alongside you, your family and a multidisciplinary team of physicians, when necessary, to help you become the best version of yourself.
