Angel Vest, LCSW

Angel Vest, LCSW, CTRP-C, is a licensed clinical social worker and certified trauma and resilience practitioner in the Denver, Colorado, metro area. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and addictive disorders. She treats post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and bipolar and personality disorders. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing techniques, stress inoculation training and exposure therapy.

Angel earned her Master of Social Work at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio.

In her free time, Angel enjoys reading, spending quality time with her family, attending church, walking her Siberian Husky, exploring the outdoors, and learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Angel is passionate about creating a safe space for her patients and treats them as collaborative partners in their care. She lets patients know they are in the driver’s seat when they begin the therapeutic relationship. She believes in empathetic listening and ensuring that her patients feel listened to and understood.
