Aissa McLendon, CSW

Aissa McLendon, CSW is a board-certified social worker who works to support children and young adults as they reach new milestones and approach new challenges. She uses evidence-based treatment approaches to address individual needs, ranging from cognitive behavioral therapy to humanistic theory.

Aissa holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from DePaul University in Chicago and earned her master’s degree in social work at the University of Kentucky. She completed her clinical training at AdventHealth Manchester.

Aissa sees the value in honoring culture and family traditions while promoting authentic relationships and personal growth. She sees stories and life experiences as sacred and consider it a privilege to be a part of their journeys. In her free time, Aissa enjoys hiking, painting and traveling, and she hopes to help build strong relationships between people within her community.
