Abby Stork, MD

Dr. Abby Stork is a fellowship-trained Urogynecologist and board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist practicing at Urogynecology of Kansas City in Overland Park, KS.

Dr. Stork specializes in the medical and surgical management of prolapse and incontinence, with an expertise in minimally-invasive surgery that includes robotic, vaginal, and vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic (vNOTES) surgery. She is also trained in the management of painful bladder syndrome (interstitial cystitis), recurrent urinary tract infections, and childbirth-related injuries. She is one of only a handful of fellowship-trained Urogynecologists in the Kansas City Metro area.

Dr. Stork completed her medical training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center/Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She completed additional sub-specialty training with a fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at UT-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. She is a member of the American Urogynecology Society as well as numerous honors societies, including Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Stork aims to get to know each of her patients in order to better provide compassionate and personalized care that empowers them as a part of the decision-making process. She understands the profound impact that pelvic floor disorders can have in a woman and aims to restore each patient's dignity and quality of life.
