Find Healing for Conductive Hearing Loss

Conductive hearing loss can happen if sound is blocked in the ear canal or the middle ear. It may be caused by fluid build-up, infection or damage to the ear. Conductive hearing loss can also be caused by otosclerosis, an inherited condition resulting in the abnormal growth of a small bone in the middle ear.

We offer effective, state-of-the-art treatment for people who face conductive hearing loss, like a joint replacement of the ear. This minimally invasive, outpatient procedure replaces the abnormal ear bone with an implant, which can restore hearing. This surgery has helped many people get rid of their hearing aids for good.

For Sudden Hearing Loss, Get Answers and Guidance

Sudden hearing loss is often referred to as a “stroke of the ear.” Also called sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL), the condition is usually caused by neurological damage to the ear due to trauma, viral infections or certain kinds of brain tumors.

Medical therapy, such as a steroid injection, can usually help restore hearing and prevent permanent nerve damage. However, it’s extremely important to see a doctor right away if you experience sudden hearing loss in one ear (or both ears).
