At AdventHealth Central Florida Division, we are committed to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Every three years, we conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to identify key health concerns in our region. This data informs our Community Health Plans (CHPs) at each hospital, which focus on enhancing community health through education, research, financial assistance, specialized programs, and spiritual resources.
Our community benefit initiatives are designed to support vulnerable populations, including the elderly and underprivileged. To qualify as a community benefit, an activity must address a need identified in the CHNA and meet at least one of the following objectives:
• Improve access to health care services
• Enhance the overall health of the community
• Advance medical or healthcare knowledge
• Reduce the burden on government resources

Our team is dedicated to finding innovative approaches to address these health needs. A few of our key initiatives include:
1. Community Impact Grants – Funded by the Collaborative Community Council to support local nonprofit organizations.
2. Collaboration on Community Health Plans – Working with partners to develop and implement strategies that improve community health.
