Dr. Ross is an advanced foregut and HPB surgeon specializing in robotic and single incision laparoscopic operations, and one of the few surgeons in the United States to offer patients robotic complex abdominal operations for esophageal, stomach, small bowel, pancreatic, liver, and gallbladder cancers. She was one of the first surgeons in the U.S. to offer laparo-endoscopic single site (LESS) surgery and continues to develop new, innovative techniques and instrumentation to improve its safety and application. Dr. Ross is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She is the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Surgical Endoscopy at Florida Hospital Tampa and the Director and Founder of the Women in Surgery National Symposium. She is the also co-director of the Advanced GI and HPB Surgery Fellowship at the Digestive Health Institute, which trains new surgeons to master minimally invasive complex surgery.
