Internationally-renowned, minimally invasive spine surgeon and Medical Director of the Spine Health Institute in Altamonte Springs, FL, Chetan Patel, MD, has been appointed Chairman of the Navigation & Robotics Section of the North American Spine Society (NASS) for 2013 - 2015. Dr. Patel’s passion for research is leading the way in the treatment and management of spinal disorders. As chairman of NASS, Dr. Patel will continue to lead projects that help provide a better understanding for the causes of lower back pain and minimally invasive treatments that can dramatically improve upon the traditional treatment options available today.
