Gordon Hospital, a member of Adventist Health System, is pleased to announce that Rob Dyar, MD, has joined Northwest Georgia OB/GYN.
Dr. Dyar will work as an obstetrician and gynecologist and will also perform robotic surgeries using the da Vinci surgical system. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Dyar also specializes in operative laparoscopy, abnormal uterine bleeding, high-risk obstetrics, urologic sling placement, and office procedures including ablations and assure placements.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Dyar join Gordon Hospital and Northwest Georgia OB/GYN, said Pete Weber, president and CEO of Gordon Hospital. His experience in robotic and laparoscopic surgery make Dr. Dyar an excellent addition to the hospital. Our patients and the community as a whole will benefit from his knowledge and dedication to service.
Dr. Dyar is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his obstetrics/gynecology residency at Greenville Hospital System. In addition to his education, he is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Medical Association of Georgia.
Dr. Dyar recently moved from Marietta, Georgia, to Calhoun, where he lives with his family. Outside of his profession, he enjoys running, triathlons, reading, traveling, and spending time with his wife and children.
