VOLUSIA AND FLAGLER COUNTIES, Fla., July 31, 2018 Florida Hospital Home Health has named Linda Banwell to serve as administrative director. She replaces Karen McFadden who led the Florida Hospital Home Health team for 13 years and recently left to serve as administrative director for the Home Health team at Florida Hospital Waterman.
In her new role, Banwell will provide leadership, oversight and accountability for Florida Hospital Home Health. Throughout Volusia and Flagler counties, Florida Hospital Home Health offers a wide range of health and social services to recovering, disabled, chronically or terminally ill patients who need medical, nursing, social or therapeutic treatment at home.
A registered nurse, Banwell has nearly 25 years of experience and the majority of her career has been in a leadership role. She most recently served as director of nursing and regional director of clinical operations for a large skilled nursing company, Extendicare Health Services in Michigan. In this role, Banwell had oversight and direction over six facilities and provided leadership to achieve consistent clinical outcomes with a focus on providing the highest levels of patient care.
A Port Orange resident, Banwell earned an associate degree in nursing from North Central Michigan College.
