Lunde will report to Lorenzo Brown, who was recently named regional president and CEO over AdventHealth’s facilities in West Volusia, North Lake and South Sumter counties.
"Eric is a mission-minded leader who understands the critical importance of a shared vision and a strong culture to achieve it," Brown said. "He is committed to building upon an already strong foundation in Orange City by partnering with leaders, providers, team members and the community at large to deliver the utmost in whole-person care."
Prior to his most recent role as president/CEO at AdventHealth DeLand, Lunde also previously served as chief operating officer at AdventHealth Daytona Beach.
Additionally, he served Kettering Health in Ohio for five years, including as president of Kettering Health Troy and Kettering Health Piqua. His previous experience also includes more than 10 years at AdventHealth Manchester in Kentucky, where he held various leadership roles, including vice president of physician services and chief operating officer.
Lunde earned a Master of Business Administration from Walden University, a Master of Education from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Science in commercial art from Union Adventist University.
He serves as a board member for the DeLand and Greater West Volusia Chamber of Commerce, the AdventHealth DeLand Foundation and the Stetson University School of Music Advisory Board. Lunde is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
"The calling to serve in health care is a special one. People in need of care place their trust in the hands of skilled and compassionate AdventHealth clinicians every day," Lunde said.
