Becker's Hospital Review, a national health care publication, recently named Adventist Health System (AHS) Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Brent Snyder to its 2018 list of 105 hospital and health system CIOs to know.
Snyder, who is a member of the AHS Cabinet and also serves as senior finance officer, is one of 105 executives recognized for leading their organizations through health care's technology revolution, and for overseeing electronic health records installations, new patient portals and telemedicine advancements. Snyder, like many others on the list, also oversees information technology security and has built a robust technology department.
“It is an honor to be recognized alongside many of the technology leaders in the health care industry,” said Snyder. “I am grateful for the work of our IT teams, who help maintain our critical business and access systems, and for our organization’s commitment to deploying technology and innovative solutions to enhance care for patients.”
The Becker's Hospital Review editorial team accepted nominations for the list and made selections based on editorial research.
