— AdventHealth Manchester is proud to support our local community through a generous donation to the Seventh Day Adventist Church food pantry outreach. Recognizing the growing food shortages in our area, we have partnered with the church to provide essential items to those in need. Our donation includes tents to ensure volunteers stay dry during the rain, freezers to hold additional frozen food items, a washer, a dryer, and more to add to the already successful program.
This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to extend the healing ministry of Christ and improve the lives of those in our community. We are inspired by the efforts of the Seventh Day Adventist Church food ministry, which has been instrumental in addressing food insecurity and supporting families in need. By working together, we can make a significant impact and ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
Shirley Hurley, the Food Director at Seventh Day Adventist Church, shared her thoughts on this collaboration: "I have been working with the food pantry for 6 years, and it is a great mission for the community. This is possible because of great partners like AdventHealth. The addition of these items will help volunteers have a more comfortable working environment and add to the great services already provided."
At AdventHealth, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting one another. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this vital cause and look forward to continuing our efforts to serve and uplift our community.
