MAITLAND, FL (September 7, 2017) While everyone is in full preparation mode for Hurricane Irma, AdventHealth wants to urge residents that now is the time to download the free AdventHealth eCare app and set up a personal or family account, before you need it. This hurricane is unprecedented, and we realize many residents will be confined to their homes for extended periods of time. And yet, de-spite the storm, illness and injuries still happen, says AdventHealth Centra Care President and CEO Scott Brady, MD. We want residents to know were available should the need for urgent care arise before, during, or after the storm. AdventHealth is offering residents FREE access to eCare Urgent Care providers with no appointment necessary.
The virtual visits are typically $49 but through Tuesday, September 12, AdventHealth is offering the service completely free. AdventHealth providers will be available 8AM-8PM every day until the storm subsides. Users can expect live and secure tele-health consultations for a range of services that include: Skin Conditions Minor Injuries Lower Back Pain Infections Urinary Tract Infection Allergies Coughs, Colds, Bronchitis and Flu Sinus and Upper Respiratory Infections Pink Eye The app can be downloaded for free onto any smartphone or tablet by searching, eCare or AdventHealth eCare.
