Biography

Joseph S. Barsa, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who earned his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in St. George, Grenada. Dr. Barsa completed his residency training in family medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, KY, where he earned the rank of chief resident. Dr. Barsa was awarded a fellowship in sports medicine at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine, Greenville, NC. He has been an urgent care physician at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY, since 2021.

In his free time, he loves traveling, working out, running, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
