Barbara Cashman, LPC

Barbara Cashman, LPC, is an expert licensed professional counselor who cares for patients of all ages. As part of her practice, she provides care for anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD and other mental health conditions. She uses various therapeutic techniques, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and integrative approaches to meet her clients where they are.

Barbara worked as an attorney for many years and particularly enjoyed the counseling role of being a lawyer. She returned to school to become a therapist and fulfill her calling. She believes that people can become stuck or lose the feeling of connection to themselves and others. She’s passionate about leading her patients toward self-discovery and empowering resilience, helping them work through their unique needs.

Barbara earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Regis University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Colorado Counseling Association. She’s also a trained mediator.

Barbara enjoys walking, hiking, cooking, baking, and tending to her chickens in her free time. She’s also an avid reader.

Barbara Cashman, LPC, believes the most important aspect of quality therapeutic care is the connection between the patient and therapist. She takes a compassionate approach to care, helping her patients feel safe, seen and heard. She provides open lines of communication and individualized support to all her patients, healing them in body, mind and spirit.
