Ensuring You Get the Care You Need
Your focus should be on healing, so we do everything we can to make it easier to pay for care services. Whether you have a health insurance plan, managed care plan or are paying on your own, there are a few important things to know.
We will bill your insurance company, Medicare or Medicaid on your behalf. We work to obtain payment and expedite your claim so there is less for you to coordinate. You may receive separate bills from your personal physician, surgeon, pathologist, radiologist or other health care professional who provides services. Questions about any of these bills should be directed to the number printed on the statement you receive.
We accept most major health insurance plans and managed care plans. No one will be denied necessary medical care due to lack of insurance or inability to pay. However, you may be asked to pay a deposit when you’re admitted or when you register for an outpatient procedure.

Payment Policy
Payment in full is required at the time of service from all patients who owe copays or coinsurance, have not met their deductible, or do not have insurance coverage. Balances after insurance payment are due upon receipt.
Even if we bill your health insurance, payment is the ultimate responsibility of the patient. You will be financially responsible for payment of your hospital bill. To assist you with your financial responsibility, we offer discounts, payment plans and other forms of financial assistance for patients who qualify. While we accept many insurance providers, some of their plans do not cover treatment at AdventHealth. This list may not be fully up to date. If you see your insurance provider listed below, you should still check your individual policy or contact your insurance company to ensure your plan covers treatment.

Free Eligibility Services
If you are having trouble paying for medical care, our team may be able to help you get health coverage from federal, state or county programs. We start with a screening process that uses a questionnaire designed to identify programs that may help cover your medical bills.
Once the screening is completed and a program is identified, we work with you to gather any information and documentation required, as well as complete any applications necessary to get you the needed funding.
