DEXA (Bone Density) Scans
Growing older increases your risk for osteoporosis, which causes bones to become more fragile. We can measure your bone strength with a dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan.
A DEXA scan is a simple, pain-free test that gives you and your doctor a picture of your strength and bone health. This information allows us to address any weaknesses with supplements, exercise or medication. -
Screening Mammograms
A screening mammogram is a preventive test for women who haven't experienced any abnormal breast symptoms. Screening mammograms are recommended at least every two years, starting between the ages of 40 and 50. You and your provider can determine when and how often you should have screening mammograms.
