Biography

Amanda Vera is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2023 at the University of Central Florida, completing her doctoral project focused on improving outpatient endoscopy care. She received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Florida International University in 2017 and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida in 2015. She has previously worked as faculty in undergraduate nursing education and as a registered nurse in endoscopy, plastic surgery, and inpatient medicine.
