Robotic Hernia Repairs

Event Type:Lectures and Seminars

About this Event

Robotic hernia repairs are a type of minimally invasive surgery that uses tiny incisions, a camera, and small instruments to fix hernias. Hernias are bulges of tissue or organs that protrude through a weak spot in the abdominal wall. Robotic hernia repairs can be used for inguinal, umbilical, and some ventral hernias. Join Dr. Brett Armstrong as he discusses the advantages of Robotic hernia repairs such as less damage to the surrounding tissues, less pain, low risk of infection and quicker recovery. A complimentary lunch will be provided by Sylvan Abbey Memorial Garden and Funeral Home.
