As an expectant mother, the joy and love you feel has no limits. But already, you’re starting to experience the concern of being a parent, too. For example, you may be worried about miscarriage, genetic disorders, or birth defects. At AdventHealth Manchester, you’ll get more clarity with our expert prenatal care. We’ll evaluate your health history and that of your family, highlighting any specific risks. You may undergo a screening or two. Then, we’ll offer information and insights so you can be as prepared, proactive, and informed as possible.
If you or your baby should ever need extra attention, our emergency-trained staff and neonatologists are on hand 24/7 with our Level II neonatal intensive care unit, transport services, and world-class medical team. Best of all, the AdventHealth network of care means you’re never far from the specialty maternal-fetal, neonatal, or pediatric services you expect under our care.

- Mommy and Baby Fair
-
Being a new mother is deeply rewarding, but it can also be deeply challenging. Every year, we hold the Mommy and Baby Fair — the only one in Clay County — to support you and your new arrival. New and expectant mothers can receive free health screenings and massages, participate in question-and-answer sessions, and enjoy refreshments, photo sessions, and shopping.
In addition, specialists from a number of community organizations will be available to answer questions, conduct free health screenings, and provide information on topics like nutrition, gestational diabetes, and more. Community groups in attendance typically include:
- HANDS (Health Access Nurturing Development Services)
- Helping Hand Adoption Agency
- Wellcare
- WIC (Women, Infants, and Children)
- Primary Care Clinic - Women's Care
Physicians from our Pediatric Care will also be available to answer questions and provide information. We're here to guide and support you through this wonderful new journey, from prenatal and pregnancy care, to labor and deliver, to postpartum support and beyond.
