Savannah Sievers, PA-C

Savannah Sievers, PA-C, chose medical oncology after her grandmother passed away from breast cancer. After a medical oncology assignment, Savannah realized how important caregivers are to patients experiencing cancer. After a fellowship at MD Anderson in Houston, she decided to focus on gynecological oncology. Savannah knows that it is an honor to be caring for patients during their cancer journey. She helps patients with vulvar, vaginal, cervical, uterine, and ovarian cancers. Savannah performs these procedures: vulvar biopsies, vaginal biopsies, cervical biopsies, Port-A-Cath placement, chemotherapy administration, hysterectomy, oophorectomies, salpingectomies, and lymph node mapping and removal.

Education:

McPherson College Bachelor’s of Science, Union College Masters of Physician Assistant Studies, and MD Anderson Physician Assistant Fellowship in Oncology.

Savannah enjoys staying active by participating in reading, running, hiking, backpacking, traveling, scuba diving, and yoga. Time with family is at the top of her list of things she enjoys. And, she dabbles in real estate investing.

Savannah’s care philosophy involves offering passionate, evidence-based, comprehensive care including chemotherapy and surgical management. She aims to know her patients on as personal a level as they feel comfortable with in order to facilitate transparent communication. There she believes she can truly meet the patient’s and family’s desires in the patient's oncology journey.
