If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, it’s normal to experience shock, anger, sadness, fear and not know necessarily where to turn. This group will offer the opportunity to connect with other people who have similar, firsthand experiences with cancer. This can help to learn new ways of coping, reduce stress and loneliness, and build your community support network.
This support group will be led by an oncology counselor and an oncology nurse navigator, though will be largely focused on peer connection and discussion.
