DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., April 29, 2016 Board certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician Dr. Elizabeth Chandler has joined the Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners medical staff at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center.
Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners is the employed group of physicians for the Florida Hospital East Florida Region, which encompasses the six Florida Hospitals within Volusia and Flagler counties. Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners consists of more than 150 physicians, including both primary care physicians and specialists, and enjoys a mutual partnership with Florida Hospital based upon the close alignment of the hospitals mission and values.
As a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, also known as a physiatrist, Chandler treats a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. In her practice, she focuses on neurologic, cardiac, and post-operative rehabilitation, as well as rehabilitation for sports injuries and movement disorders.
She earned a medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in West Virginia and completed her residency at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Illinois.
She has 10 years of experience and most recently practiced at Sea Spine Orthopedic Institute with locations in Orlando and Jacksonville.
