Suresh Desai, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine with a special interest in Pulmonary disease. After graduating from the Durban Medical School, he completed his residency at King Edward VIII Hospital in Durban, South Africa, during this time he received a research grant from Welcome Trust to do their research at the Royal Postgraduate medical school and University College hospital in London, England.
A highly experienced physician, Dr. Desai was an associate professor of medicine at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada as well as the Chief of Medicine and Chief of Staff at Florida Hospital. Dr. Desai is currently the medical director of the pulmonary department at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. Dr. Desai is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
